About Us

Over the years, many have turned to religious leaders for support, guidance, and solutions related to mental health issues. Pastoral counseling took form from the idea that, although this kind of support is valuable, some issues may require a more professional level of help. This is where we come in. At Agape Pastoral Counseling, we help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, faith challenges, trauma, grief, and other mental health issues to find healing and strategies for coping and living a better life.

At Agape Pastoral Counseling, we understand the fact that everyone struggles at times. Our core purpose here is to make it easier for these people to access mental health services from dedicated professionals. We believe that with the right support, anyone is capable of healing, showing growth, and changing their lives.

Our Mission

Agape Pastoral Counseling’s mission is to be a professional extension of the counseling ministries of the Triangle Area’s spiritual and faith communities.

It is our fundamental belief that each person’s emotional and spiritual journeys are closely intertwined. Hence, we strive to provide counseling, psychotherapy, consultation, and education that integrate spiritual and psychological perspectives in our healing methods.

To provide our clients with the best service, we are offering:

  • A professionally credentialed and certification seeking staff
  • A collegial working environment
  • Patient Centered Care
  • Telehealth (Virtual Sessions)
  • A program to help families of children with developmental/medical challenges
  • Individual, Couple, family, and group therapy
  • Above all – A service of the highest quality to all who seek them without regard to race, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religious belief

With compassionate counseling, we aim to bring hope and heal those struggling with anxiety, depression, faith challenges, trauma, grief, and other mental health issues. Our team is committed to educating people about the benefits of therapy, reducing stigma, and helping those seeking solace.
